Shoes

Shoes.

Such a short, ordinary word that fills millions of girls with excitement and lust!

I can't remember when my obsession with shoes first started, I don't think there was ever really a start. It was probably always there from when I was a little girl but only really came to light when I grew up and had my own money to buy all these pretty, fabulous, ever changing creations.

Shoes can make you feel good about yourself, they can change your mood in a moment. They can transform an outfit. They can also cause a major strain on your bank balance!

You have your comfy shoes which you can always fall back on and you will probably keep until they are literally falling apart at the seams but then you still hesitate at throwing them away! You also have the shoes that are incredible to look at, some would call them a work of art but they are complete agony to walk in. Yet you still wear them and suffer the pain just to be seen in them. Are we mad?

I love it when you get a new pair of shoes, you carefully take them out of the box and slip them on your feet. You sit there twisting your foot from side to side admiring each view. You strut or stumble around the bedroom seeing how they are to walk in, stopping in front of the mirror for yet another view.

I can't say I'm a lover of "kitten" heels. For me it is either flats or skyscraper heels! Why only go half way when you have got the choice to touch the sky? Flats are home, skyscrapers are New York, so why stop half way? Don't you want to see New York?

Love Angel
